White Mountain Hearth
Made in the USA – Providing Opportunities
White Mountain Hearth products are manufactured at the company's two facilities in Belleville, Illinois. The company has provided jobs to southern Illinois residents for more than 100 years - both in the original sheet metal shop dating back to 1911 and in the manufacturing facility that opened in 1932. The children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of some of the original employees still proudly work to produce White Mountain products, truly making this a family business.
Today, Empire employs hundreds of people in manufacturing, office staff, sales, marketing, engineering, accounting, administration, and management.
White Mountain Hearth log sets and burners
Their vent-free burners are approved for use in any certified vent-free firebox. They may be also installed in an existing wood-burning fireplace, with the damper closed, to operate as a vent-free heating system.
White Mountain's vented pan burners are made from high-quality tube burners covered in a bed of sand. The logs rest on a sturdy 5/8” wrought iron grate above the sand and ember bed. Gas percolates up through the sand and burns beneath the logs. All vented sand pan burners include the burner, log grate, sand, and embers. Triple burners include crushed glass, instead of sand, to help maintain a cleaner burn.
Linear Vent-Free Fireplaces
Designed for eye-level, in-wall installation, White Mountain's contemporary fireplaces feature modern technology, artfully applied. With strong horizontal lines, contemporary burners, and chic accessories, linear vent-free fireplaces add drama to any décor.
Direct Vent Fireplaces
White Mountain Hearth's designer, direct-vent fireplaces create the perfect look on a scale that’s ideal for your perfect home. All of their designer models incorporate a clean-face design to allow you to finish to the fireplace opening creating the look of a site-built fireplace. Some also offer trim and decorative front accessories to tailor the fireplace to the room.
