The Vermont Castings Montpelier II and Gifford wood-burning fireplace inserts are classic choices from the leader in cast iron hearth products. Designed to fit into an existing fireplace opening, and crafted with care, the only question you'll ask after installing one of these inserts is why you didn't do it sooner.

The Gifford affords smaller fireplaces all the same grace and appeal of the Montpelier, but in a slightly smaller package. Accommodating 18" logs and heating up to 1,400 square feet for up to six hours on a single load of wood, the Gifford is the perfect choice for cozier rooms.
