Air-Cooled Temp/Guard products are tested and listed to UL 103 for continuous operating temperatures up to 1000 degree F and 1700 degree F intermittent. Air-Cooled Temp/Guard features a rigid 430 stainless steel flue combined with a male to female slip connection secured with sheet metal screws. Note: Air-Cooled Temp/Guard chimney, 12" and 14" utilize a Button-Lock Tab design. Their one piece flue and casing design reduces installation time and cost with no field assembly required. Double Wall factory-built chimney for use with masonry fireplaces which burn wood, oil, coal, gas or pellets. A superbly designed cost effective alternative for pre-fabricated masonry fireplace applications.
