Security Chimneys - Dedicated to Total Quality

Security Chimneys International is dedicated to total quality in the research and development of new products and services for residential and commercial markets. With a 104,800-square-foot manufacturing facility in Laval, Quebec, they certify that all their products are in accordance with UL and ULC standards.

Throughout the company's history, it has strengthened its focus on maintaining its leadership position in the industry by designing, building, and marketing a complete line of chimneys for residential and commercial applications that have set the standard that other manufacturers have often imitated, but never equaled. Security Chimneys believes in producing quality products and building customer relationships through quality services.

Turbinox twist and lock

The Tubinox series is an easy to install product due to its unique system of twist and lock. Slip the components together and twist 1/8th of a turn to lock in place. The connected mechanism is completely dripless and prevents the formation of creosote and condensation within the liner, which makes it highly durable. The double locking seam further secures the mechanism of the product.

Secure series of chimneys

The secure series from Security Chimneys is specifically quality tested to provide the best of the company’s brand name. The product exceeds quality marks and safety standards. The design is compatible with all fuels: wood, coal, gas, and oil. It is molded for sustaining extremely high temperatures, and the product is certified under Intertek Testing Services’ quality standards of ULC-s629.

CI and CT Secure Commercial

Security Chimneys also has a commercial line of products to incorporate their quality standards for large manufacturing and production spaces. The CI and CT secure series are the most popular of the commercial line of chimneys from the company.

Security Chimneys Chimney Pipe, Liners & Venting Products

Security Chimneys products include chimney pipe, liners, direct vent, pellet vent, stovepipe, caps, and replacement venting parts.

Match the Right Venting System to the Appliance

Chimney and venting products are system-specific. A wood stove chimney, connector stovepipe, pellet vent, gas vent, direct vent pipe, and chimney liner may look similar online, but they are built for different fuels, temperatures, clearances, and appliance listings. The safest way to order is to match the product family, diameter, connection style, and manufacturer instructions before adding parts to the cart.

Common Chimney and Venting Components

Most venting jobs require more than a straight pipe length. Depending on the layout, you may need elbows, tees, cleanout caps, wall thimbles, ceiling supports, flashing, storm collars, roof braces, termination caps, adapters, increasers, reducers, or liner connectors. Selecting parts within the same approved system helps the installation fit together correctly.

For best results, compare the product name, model family, measurements, finish, fuel type, and installation requirements shown in the product listing below. If a product is part of a larger system, keep the system family together unless the manufacturer instructions specifically allow an adapter or transition.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I mix Security Chimneys venting parts with another brand?

Do not assume venting parts are interchangeable. Match the approved system, diameter, listing, appliance manual, and installation instructions.

Is Security Chimneys chimney pipe the same as stove pipe?

No. Stove pipe is connector pipe used near the appliance, while listed chimney pipe is used where the system passes through walls, ceilings, attics, or roof areas.

How do I know which Security Chimneys pipe series I have?

Look for labels, part numbers, diameter markings, connection style, and installation paperwork. Photos of the pipe ends and existing cap can also help.
