Fireplaces - Direct Vent, Vented, or Vent Free

• Direct vent - The structure is designed as a coaxial system of venting using a pipe inserted into another pipe with the inside pipe serving as exhaust while the outside pipe supports combustion.
• Vented - These products use B-vent or an air-cooled pipe or, in some cases, gas flex-type liners for ventilation
• Vent free - These product lines do not require a chimney or vent system and can be installed anywhere in the home.
