Security Chimneys 6'' Secure Temp ASHT Floor Support - 6SD

Used mainly from a basement, this part supports the chimney on a slab, floor, or joist and also acts as a firestop. It makes it possible to maintain a 2'' clearance between the chimney's outer casing and combustible materials in its path. It includes a tightening collar that locks around the chimney and is secured by self-tapping screws (included). The collar rests on a horizontal plate screwed or nailed to the floor or slab. It can also serve as an intermediate support. (Refer to chart on pg. 4 for loadbearing capacity.)
